Membership Terms and Conditions
1. Membership Term
Club membership is valid for a fixed period running from August 1 to July 31 of the following year, regardless of the date of registration.
This period corresponds to the duration of the basic affiliation with Badminton Québec, including applicable insurance coverage.
2. Provincial Affiliation
Beginning with the 2025–2026 season, any person who becomes a member of a club affiliated with Badminton Québec will automatically receive their basic provincial affiliation, subject to payment of the $5 Badminton Québec fee collected by the club.
This affiliation includes, among other things:
registration with Badminton Québec;
access to applicable insurance coverage;
the ability for Badminton Québec to communicate with its members from the beginning of the season.
However, it is understood that basic provincial affiliation does not grant eligibility to participate in tournaments.

3. Registration Platform
In order to participate in club activities, all participants must create an account on the Opensports platform.
Registration for club activities is completed through the platform available at:

For an optimal experience, members are also encouraged to install the Opensports mobile application on their Android or iOS device.
4. Priority Access to Sessions
Club members may benefit from priority access to recreational sessions, training programs, leagues, and special events, for up to one (1) month before registration opens to the general public.
Invitations or registration links will be sent through the Opensports platform.
These links are strictly reserved for members and may not be shared, transferred, or used by any other person. The club reserves the right to suspend or revoke priority access in the event of unauthorized use or sharing of such links.
5. 12-Session Pass
Members may, upon request and subject to availability, purchase a 12-session pass for $120, valid for the club’s recreational activities, including but not limited to open play, BAM! Ladder, and Mix & Match.
To obtain this pass, the member must complete the applicable form and submit payment. Once payment has been received, a confirmation email will be sent, and a code will automatically be linked to the member’s Opensports account for use during registration.
The 12-session pass is subject to the following conditions:
it is personal;
it is non-transferable;
it is valid for a minimum period of nine (9) months;
no extension or automatic renewal will be granted after this period expires.
The number of passes available is limited in order to maintain access to sessions for all members throughout the year. Passes will be issued in the order requests are received, subject to availability.
During their membership year, members may submit a new pass request, subject to the club’s applicable procedures and availability.
6. Discounted Equipment
The club may, at its discretion, negotiate preferential pricing on badminton equipment for the benefit of its members.
Through a partnership with Li-Ning, members may receive discounts ranging from 5% to 50% on a selection of equipment, subject to stock availability, through the following website:

The club may also organize group orders through the members-only discussion channel. In order to reduce shipping costs, equipment is generally distributed in person during club sessions, with the cooperation of members.

The club does not guarantee the ongoing availability of products or continued discounts, both of which may be changed or withdrawn at any time by the relevant partners.
7. Racket Stringing Service
Members may benefit, when available, from preferred access to the club’s official stringing service, including certain pricing advantages or priority service.
To submit a request, the member must complete the applicable form and then drop off and pick up their racket during a club session, in accordance with the communicated procedures.
Turnaround times, service availability, and applicable fees are determined at the sole discretion of the stringer. The club does not guarantee any specific turnaround time or continuous availability of the service.
